Funerary culture is an important and highly interesting aspect of the history of a people. Hence, education on its different elements— ranging from iconography and epitaphs to popular traditions—is essential. Education takes many forms: museum exhibitions, school and university projects, crowd sourcing projects are just a few.

The PEACE portal includes a section about Education on Jewish funerary culture, which serves as a hub for collecting, sharing, and distributing information on the above elements.
